“I am a quiet observer of the world by soul,” Míša says about herself. It immediately becomes clear that her world is about perception, not rush. She loves the silence of the forest, the morning light, the wind in her hair and moments of full presence. Being in nature fills her the most. That is where she feels free, calm and true. She captures the beauty of the ordinary and shares it through her photos as an invitation to slow down and breathe with her.
Her approach to life is inspiring. She does not chase experiences but lets them come to her. “Every place has a different energy, a different color, a different scent and that never stops fascinating me.”
Lanzarote: the island of silence, rawness and life
Out of many places she has visited, Míša feels the deepest connection with Lanzarote, a place she says has a soul. “Raw, lunar landscape, the contrast of black lava and blue ocean, wind, emptiness and yet so much life.” According to her, this island teaches presence, silence, calmness and space to simply be. It is a place she keeps coming back to and soon she will return for the fifth time.
Travel as a way of life
For Míša, travel is a way of life, not an escape from reality. It is not about collecting destinations but about connection with the landscape, people and herself. She prefers traveling in a camper van with minimal things and maximum freedom. “I love that feeling when I have almost nothing, just two bags and a car. I travel through the landscape, fall asleep by the ocean and wake up with the sunrise. That is when I feel truly alive.”
Still, unexpected moments can happen. One of the most memorable was when their engine literally caught fire in the middle of a roundabout. “It started with stress but in the end it showed how kind a foreign country can be.” According to her, such moments teach gratitude and show how much difference human kindness can make.
